“The ‘informateur’ will report to the grand duke on the position of the political powers, in line with the constitution, on a coalition government”, the lord chamberlain’s office stated on 15 October.

The DP, LSAP and Green party have each agreed to enter three-way talks for a second “Gambia” government, according to press reports.

Solovieff has been attorney general since 2015. The grand duke named her ‘informateur’ after accepting the resignation of Xavier Bettel’s government following Sunday’s election, and meeting with the speaker of parliament and the head of the Council of State on Monday.

Grand Duke Henri also met, as is standard practice, with political party leaders.
