Public broadcaster Radio 100,7 in February had revealed that 600 people had been invited by mistake during the first phase of the vaccination campaign aimed at healthcare staff.

This was due to organisations operating nursing homes also running other facilities, such as daycare centres. This resulted in educators, who are not prioritised to be inoculated, being invited alongside nurses.

The ministry this week told Radio 100,7 that 44% of those invited--264 people--had scheduled an appointment based on the erroneously received invitations.
