Petition 1168 states that at most locations, “fathers have the problem that they do not have access to a changing station”.

Petitioner Anouk Wenandy adds that while many of the public or client restrooms do have a changing station, they tend to be in the women’s rooms which, of course, fathers would not have access to--even if they are out with their child(ren).

The petition has reached over 200 signatures, but it still has some ways to go: it requires 4,500 signatures for it to be debated in parliament. The petition closes for signatures on 6 March.
