82% of foreign residents said they were interested in Luxembourg politics, despite the fact they will not be eligible to vote in the next legislative elections scheduled for October 2018.

The question of voting rights for foreign nationals was among three issues raised in the 2015 referendum, in which Luxembourgers voted overwhelmingly against the motion.
