Luxembourg’s crown prince took on the role of national scout leader last Friday, taking the baton from his late grandfather, Grand Duke Jean, who served as chief scout for 74 years.

Crown Prince Guillaume made his promise at a gathering of over 3,000 scouts in Luxembourg City. In Luxembourg, there are two scout organisations: the LGS and FNEL, to which 85 local groups are affiliated, working with around 7,500 young people.
