“We are very happy to announce the engagement of our son, Prince Louis, to Miss Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue,” read a statement issued by the royal court on Tuesday. “Princes Gabriel and Noah join us in surrounding the new couple with all our affection. We wish them immense happiness.”

Prince Louis is Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa’s third child. Louis was previously married to Tessy Antony (formerly Princess Tessy). Their 2006 marriage was annulled in 2019. They have two sons, Prince Gabriel, 15, and Prince Noah, 13.

Sirgue was born in Bordeaux and grew up in southwestern France, Switzerland, London and Paris, the palace stated. She followed her parents into law, and was called to the Paris bar four years ago.

The couple previously worked together at the same legal mediation firm.

Hello magazine reported that: “A date for the royal wedding has not been set yet.”
