Responding to a parliamentary question published on Friday, civil service minister Marc Hansen (DP) explained that of the 912 workers with disability status, 78.5% worked in general administration, 12% in education, 7.1% in public enforcement and 2.4% in the justice sector.

The question was put forward by MP Marc Spautz (CSV), who pointed out that under Luxembourg law, public institutions are expected to meet a quota ensuring they fill 5% of full-time total roles with people who have a recognised disability.
