Founded in March 2011, the Russian arts collective of around 11 women is known for its unauthorised performances in unusual places.

They made headlines in March 2012 when three members were arrested following an anti-Putin concert in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow.

This immersive show is based on the book “Riot Days”, by activist Maria Alyokhina.

The book is an account of her arrest, trial and imprisonment in a penal colony in the Urals for standing up for what she believed in.

The show/concert takes place on 20 March at Kulturfabrik. Click here for more information.
