- 24% of Luxembourg residents “rarely” use cash, a study by the bank ING has found. The figure was 18% among Luxembourgers compared to 30% for foreigners.
- Several hundred staff members at RBC Investor Services protested--“spontaneously” according a trade union leader--during their lunch break on Wednesday. They were demonstrating against the recommendation--by the trade group ABBL--that banks not pay a June bonus outlined in the current sectoral labour agreement.
