Parts of lines 10, 50, 60 and 90 will be impacted by summer rail maintenance works
Rail users in Luxembourg may have to make alternative travel plans over the summer when sections of track are closed for maintenance.
In a press release published on Tuesday, rail operator CFL announced that parts of lines 10, 50, 60 and 90 would be impacted by the works.
Line 10: between Luxembourg and Diekirch, will be closed from 25 August to 16 September;
Line 50: Luxembourg-Kleinbettingen-Arlon, will entirely closed from 14 July to 16 September;
Line 60: between Esch-sur-Alzette and Pétange will be closed from 25 August to 16 September;
Lines 60 and 90: between Luxembourg and Bettembourg from 14 July to 24 August.
CFL says rail replacement buses will be operational during the closures, between Luxembourg and Diekirch stations, Luxembourg and Arlon, Esch-sur-Alzette and Rodange, Luxembourg and Bettembourg and Luxembourg and Thionville.
