Property funds managed €79.93bn at the end of September, according to an Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry report released during the trade group’s alternative funds conference this week.
Alfi noted that a newish type of structure was proving popular in its press release:
“The number of launches of Reserved Alternative Investment Funds (RAIFs) focused on property grew from 27 in 2018 to 63 in 2019, an increase of 133%.”
The trade group released “Luxembourg Real Estate Investment Funds 2019” on 28 November.
