The sport is a non-tackling version of rugby league, which emerged from Australia and has taken Europe by storm.

Teams of minimum six players compete on a pitch half the size of a rugby field, where they pass the ball backwards like in rugby and score touchdowns.

They must use skill, strategy and speed to do so, as each team has just six touches before possession of the ball is given to the opposing team.

The corporate tournament, which runs every Wednesday evening from 7pm for ten weeks, is open to teams with minimum two women on the pitch during a game.

The tournament is an ideal fun team building opportunity for companies in Luxembourg.

But not all entrants are required to field a team in order to play—individual players wishing to join in can be added to established teams.

Players require no prior experience to take part as introductions to the sport can be provided, however, a certain level of fitness is advisable.

Participation costs €25 per player for the entire tournament. Each evening session is followed by a barbecue and drinks in the buvette.

Games are played at Boy Konen stadium in Cessange.
