During the visit the royal couple learned more details about the operation of the Research Luxembourg covid-19 task force, which was set up to coordinate communication and align efforts between research institutions, ministries and hospitals across the grand duchy.

The royals also attended a presentation on the work being carried out at the LIH, particularly in the fields of oncology, infectiology and immunology.
