Paulette Lenert and Xavier Bettel held an update press conference on Wednesday, including news that Luxembourg hospitals had taken delivery of new scanners that can detect covid-19 in patient lungs.

Health and social security experts answered more specific questions on Thursday morning.

Also on Thursday, legal proceedings were suspended.

The government outlined an economic stimulus package and Statec published an initial economic forecast earlier this week.

Luxembourg’s 37,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed people are being hit hard by the coronavirus restrictions. Some local councils are providing lease relief.
