On Monday, Kersch announced that the unemployment rate dropped to 6.1% in March, after having remained steady at 6.3% for six months. Also, he said that free online courses in digital skills will start to be offered for unemployed people through employment agency Adem.

In addition, Adem is to expand access to its job vacancy announcement site JobBoard to all jobseekers, even if they are not registered with the agency. Registered users will have exclusive access to vacancies for the first seven days. The change is due to take effect on 28 April.
