Special trains for the main lines:

  • Luxembourg – Esch – Pétange – Rodange;
  • Luxembourg – Dudelange-Usines;
  • Luxembourg – Dippach – Pétange - Rodange;
  • Luxembourg - Kleinbettingen;
  • Luxembourg - Wasserbillig et Luxembourg - Troisvierges.

Depending on the line, the last trains leave Luxembourg city train station between 02:45 and 03:40. Find all the relevant information on www.cfl.lu.

AVL: City buses

1. Lignes P+R

People who come by car should use one of the following park and rides:

  • P+R Bouillon (bus 37)
  • parkings on Kirchberg (bus 38)
  • parkings Kockelscheuer and Luxembourg-Sud (centre douanier) (Bus line 39)

Buses will leave every 5 minutes towards the city centre between 18:00 and approximately 22:20. Buses towards the parkings from the centre will leave after 23:45.

Buses from the centre towards the park and ride car parks will leave from the following bus stops:

  • line 37 towards P+R Bouillon: Monterey-Parc (arrêt provisoire); last return 3:30
  • line 38 towards Kirchberg: bd Prince Henri (between av. Monterey and av. Émile Reuter) or Fondation Pescatore quai 1; last return 3:30
  • line 39 towards parkings Luxembourg-Sud and Kockelscheuer: Hamilius quai 2; last return 3:30.

Regular bus lines

Some regular city bus lines will be suspended or shortened because of the road blocks for the different events. Check the website: www.vdl.lu

Bus lines 1-31 free after 18:00 on 22 June

The bus lines 1 to 31, but also some RGTR lines are free after 18:00. This applies to all those which are free on Saturdays. More information here: www.vdl.lu/busgratuit.html

Changes on national day 23 June

Because of the military parade and other festivities on the avenue de la liberté, all buses going between the train station and the centre are re-routed towards the route d’Esch and rue de Hollerich or the Viaduc for the whole day.

Vel’oh stations

Between 22 June at 8:00 and 24 June at 8:00, the following Vel’oh stations are closed:

  • Al Bréck
  • Metzer Plaz
  • Gëlle Fra
  • Knuedler

TICE buses

The TICE buses will run according to normal schedules.

Local buses

Some local authorities have put in place special services; check with the local services.
