Students at St George’s International School achieved a 100% pass rate at A Level and IGCSE.
According to its figures published on Wednesday, 43% of examinations graded at A-Level (high school) achieved grades A* or A, and 90% grades A* to C. The cherry on the cake was that a fifth of entries were awarded A*, the highest grade given.
At A/S Level (high school), 66% of examinations were graded at A/B* and 84% at A to C.
The final exams at the end of secondary are the IGCSEs, in which the school offered 17 different subjects.
Here, 95% of students achieved grades A* to C, compared to the UK average of 67.3%, and almost half of exams were graded A* or A, compared to the UK average of 20.8%. In total, 94% of students achieved at least 5 grades from A* to C, a rate that was 2% higher than in 2018, according to the school.
