The private school retained its 100% pass rate, despite the student cohort rising from 223 to 375 in 2017.
Almost half (47%) of all exams taken by students were graded A* or A, while 88% were graded A* to C. They did particularly well in the German exam, for which two thirds of students (21) received A* and four students received A. Two thirds of students sitting the French language test (11) also receive A* and two received A.
The school recorded a 97% pass rate for the 91 students who did AS examinations this summer. They achieved strong scores in a number of disciplines including mathematics (10 As out of 16 results), further mathematics (5 As out of 6 results), and chemistry (6 As out of 9 results). In addition, 86 students received results for their A2 exams, recording a 99% pass rate with three quarters of all results between A* and B, up from 55% last year.
