According to a government press release, the document was inked on Monday by Luxinnovation and its UAE equivalent the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) during the first day of a Luxembourg economic mission to the UAE, chaired by crown prince Guillaume and led by economy minister Etienne Schneider.

The agreement offers access for Luxembourg-based firms to the DFF’s development and financing programmes and its hosting facilities. Finance minister Pierre Gramegna met with his counterpart, Obaid Bin Humaid Al Tayer, and the pair agreed to strengthen collaboration between the two countries, particular in the field of fintech and sustainable finance.

The delegation also sought to find opportunities that could help develop finance for space activities. Minister Schneider and Prince Guillaume attended the UAE/Luxembourg space investor forum workshop in Abu Dhabi on Monday dedicated to investment and financing in the sector.
