“We’re launching Test My Pitch, which helps entrepreneurs and corporate employees get their message across effectively when pitching and presenting,” Philip Grother, CEO of Stepping-Stone, said in an emailed statement on 16 August.

Stepping-Stone consults with clients on the “outsourcing of non-core business” activities. According to the company’s website, Stepping-Stone was founded in 2015 and has aided “35+ customers” save more than €3m and generate €5m in revenue.

In a media announcement, the firm stated:

“Test My Pitch was created to provide individuals with a safe and friendly environment in which to receive constructive feedback about how they pitch, allowing participants to improve their delivery, as well as their content.”

Stepping-Stone also said:

“We often think that pitching is reserved to startups and entrepreneurs, when in fact we pitch everywhere and every day. From the weekly presentation in front of the team, to pitching a new business idea to your CEO, these are all real-life pitching events.”

Test My Pitch includes group workshops, individual consulting sessions and a “Pimp My Deck” service. The next workshop takes place on 10 September from 2pm to 5pm.

The company also runs “Test My App” events for entrepreneurs looking to improve their mobile app or website.
