The chef who worked for two years as a chef at “Aal Schoul” in Hobscheid, offers classic recipes in the lovingly restored art nouveau premises.

According to Paperjam, the menu is expected to evolve around the seasons. During this opening week, Murer will servedishes including Luxembourgish beef tataki with black garlic and crispy soft-boiled egg.

The restaurant has capacity for up to 50 diners and will be complemented with a terrace in the spring.

Murer first announced the project in March 2018 when he confirmed his departure from “Aal Schoul” via a Facebook post. He previously worked at “Mirabelle” before participating in the French television contest Top Chef in 2016 and then joining the team at “Aal Schoul”, located in a former school in the west of Luxembourg.

The latter secured best new restaurant, best French restaurant and best centrally-located restaurant in the 2017 Explorator “People’s Choice Awards”. Luxembourg chef Louis Scholtès replaced Murer at the Hobscheid restaurant.
