In total 15 fintech firms focusing on financial inclusion in Africa will be selected for the third edition of the Catapult Inclusion Africa programme, a one-week programme from 18-28 May. The deadline for applications is 30 April. This will be followed by an in-person condensed 3-days Catapult: Inclusion Africa programme in early December 2021, at the Luxembourg Pavilion of the World Expo in Dubai, with the winner of the May 2021 edition.

B2B fintechs with solutions in regtech, wealthtech, insurtech and cybersecurity using blockchain, AI and big data technologies can apply for Catapult Kickstarter. The new, four-week programme runs from 1-25 March and the call closes on 14 May.

Established with the economy ministry, the programme aims to help ten early stage, innovative, fintech entrepreneurs to develop their business models. Five Fintechs among the ten selected will receive €50,000 each in subsidy from the economy ministry.
