UBS appoints Heinrich Baer as head of Luxembourg wealth management.

UBS has appointed a new head of wealth management in Luxembourg in the person of Heinrich Baer, who will replace Rene Mottas who will return to UBS in Switzerland after seven years as country head UBS Luxembourg.
Baer was previously head of affluent & international markets wealth management Europe, the Middle East and Africa and will relocate to Luxembourg in August when he will become a member of UBS’ WM EMEA Management Committee.
When UBS’ acquisition of Nordea’s private banking activity is complete in the second half of 2018, the Luxembourg office will have a headcount of +/- 600 people.
