In April 2017, 16,040 people were registered at Adem. Unemployment remained at 6%, the same level as in March 2017.

The decrease was across the board and included more difficult cases, such as jobseekers with health problems (-5.9% over a year), those with lower qualifications (-9.7%), and lthe ong-term unemployed (-7.75).

34% of the registrations at Adem in April were new registrations, the agency stated on Monday.

At the end of April, 5,283 individuals were employed in government sponsored employment (mesure pour l’emploi), which is 3.2% fewer than in April 2016.

During the month of April 2017, employers posted 2,699 job openings at Adem.
