4,839 more residents (+32.2%) were on the rolls as of 30 June 2020, Adem, the jobs agency, said on 20 June.

The number of non-resident jobseekers rose +44.5% (compared to the previous year) to 2,457.

Available jobs posted at the agency were down -14.2% to 7,921.

Statec, the national statistics bureau, said the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for June 2020 was 7%.

A total of 473,187 people worked in the grand duchy, per Statec, a net gain of +1.4% over the previous year.
