The yellow warning level means that strong winds, lots of rain and even snow in the North will affect the grand duchy.

On Tuesday afternoon, winds could reach up to 75 km/h and it will rain heavily for the whole day.

In the evening, the temperatures will reach a maximum of 2 degrees and the winds will slow down to 50 km/h, the weather service said on 16 January.

On Wednesday 17 January, winds will pick up again and temperatures will be all day around the 0 degree mark, and it may snow lightly.
