On 10 September, the CSSF warned that the site www.fasclux.lu was falsely presenting itself as the Luxembourg regulatory authority of the financial sector, under the guise of the “Financial Services Commission Luxembourg”. “Such an authority does not exist in Luxembourg,” the CSSF wrote.

In a separate article published the same day, the CSSF issued a warning about Finamore Capital, offering private portfolio management and investment fund management services. Its claims that it is authorised and regulated by the CSSF are not true, the body said.

It is a bold move on the part of the firm since its website says it is located at 117 route d’Arlon, the same road as the CSSF is located on.
