Every year, the public can vote for restaurants in 11 categories online. 2000 people participated in the poll on explorator.lu.

The event on Wednesday 10 January awarded prizes in the following categories:

Best new restaurant:
1. Apdikt
2. Hostellerie du Grünewald
3. Kin Khao

Best French restaurant:
1. L’Annexe
2. Bistronome
3. Le Fin Gourmand

Best Italian restaurant:
1. Bella Napoli
2. Notaro
3. Ristorante Roma

Best Asian restaurant:
1. Kamakura
2. Kin Khao
3. Yamayu Santatsu

Best Luxembourgish restaurant:
1. Heringer Millen
2. Mousel’s Cantine
3. De Gudde Maufel

Best gastronomic restaurant:
1. Ma Langue Sourit
2. Clairefontaine
3. Mosconi

For the regional categories, Michelin star restaurants were excluded to shine a light on lesser known restaurants.

Best restaurant in the South:
1.Schräinerei (Differdange)
