According to the Conseil National des Femmes du Luxembourg, women pretending to be housed in the foyer (shelter) in Esch-sur-Alzette have been seen begging for money from passersby.

“They beg for money under the pretext that the foyer does not give them enough food,” the CNFL said in a press release on Tuesday.

“The CNFL wishes to inform the public that these people, who give the impression of being refugees, are not housed in our foyer and that they have no contact with the Foyer-Sud, Fraen a Nout.”
