Resident in Luxembourg since 2014, when she moved here with her boyfriend and two dogs, Amber told Delano prior to the event that that the grand duchy is her “home away from home”.
The newly crowned Luxembourg Rose will represent her adopted country at the Rose of Tralee festival in August, where she will be up against Roses from all over Ireland, as well as further afield in the United States and Abu Dhabi.
Amber was selected by a jury presided by former Luxembourg Rose Clare McGing alongside Joe O'Toole and Freda Murphy after all four Roses were interviewed on stage by MC Jim Kent. But congratulations went to all four Roses--as well as Amber, Christina Murphy, Niamh Carey and Stacey McKenna were competing for the Luxembourg Rose title.
Guests at the gala ball were treated to a three-course dinner, Irish dancing and plenty of entertainment from Jim Kent as well as a disco courtesy of DJ Sam Steen.
