Two teams of local notables answered questions about the grand duchy’s history, geography and traditions, as well as a smattering of current affairs questions.
Team 1
Jim Kent, master of ceremonies, and head of business development and marketing director at Fare Real Estate
Wendy Winn, writer and presenter of “Happy Hour” on Radio Ara
One of the rounds required the teams to identify the author of a quote about Luxembourg. After playing their “ask the audience” joker, the Irina-Moritz team correctly answered that it was Victor Hugo who said: “Vianden will be visited one day by tourists from the whole of Europe, attracted both by its sinister but magnificent ruin and by its cheerful and happy people.”
The final tally: team 1 narrowly beat out team 2 by a score of 15.5 to 15.

Three lucky attendees won a pass to the Kinneksbond’s “Danse & Cirque” season.
