Win tickets for Cineast opening concert

Vasko Atanasovski leads his lively band of Slovenian musicians for the opening concert at this year’s Cineast festival Cineast

Cineast is about much more than cinema. The musicians the festival invites to play concerts are always guaranteed to get a party going. Delano has 3 pairs of tickets to give away to the gig by Vasko & The Uncles From The Dark on Friday 8 October.

In what will be a first-ever Luxembourg show by Vasko & The Uncles From The Dark, the Slovenian band will perform what is described as an «uplifting blend of Balkan bop, gypsy swing and various shades of Slavic rock.»

They will be supported by opening act Trio Dandy whose members originate from bands like Fanfare Couche Tard and Flying Orkestar. They play traditional instruments, but bring plenty of energy and charm and slapstick humour to their act.

The evening will by rounded off with a Balkan style DJ party with DJ Grounchoo.
