Eun-Me Ahn’s Dragons

Dragons Sukmu Yun

Dragons Sukmu Yun

South Korean dancer and choreographer Eun-Me Ahn finally gets to showcase her latest work at the Grand Théâtre.

Eun-Me Ahn’s Dragons sees the choreographer creates “a portrait of contemporary Asis” in which five dancers born in different Asian countries in 2000, the year of the dragon, explore their own possible future in dance and in life.

Eun-Me Ahn studied in New York, explored shamanic traditions at home and developed ties with kindred spirit Pina Bausch. She designed the costumes and set herself, while the music for Dragons was composed by Young-Gyu Jang.
