Flying Orkestar provide for a raucous show Boris Patzek

Those groovy people at Cineast have given us 3 pairs of tickets to pass on to our readers for the festival’s closing concert and party.

Cineast will celebrate its final weekend with a featuring the excellent Flying Orkestar on Friday 22 October. The sextet combines “Balkan sounds, rock, funk, hip-hop, latin, ska and folk injected with oriental tunes, and even a dash of electro” as they take their audience on a trip to the “small imaginary country in the Balkans, where festive music and humour are the essence of life.” Expect a show packed with energy and irrepressible joy--watch this trailer to get an idea.

And the Balkan party continues after the love music with a set by the two DJs who make up the Lazarus Soundsystem.

A selection of Eastern European dishes will be available before and during the event.
