The latest BGT production, We Happy Few, is being staged from 1 to 4 December at Neimënster. Delano has a pair of tickets for opening night to give away.

We Happy Few follows the travails of a theatrical troupe in England during WWII. It is based on the story of the Osiris Players, England’s first professional all-woman theatre company that specialized in presenting Shakespeare to schools.

The play features a cast of primarily female actors, many familiar to Luxembourg audiences. Tony Kingston directs and Catriona Gillham is the music director.

Written by actress and writer Imogen Stubbs, the play had a London run in 2004 with the wonderful Juliette Stevenson leading a cast that included Patsy Palmer and Kate O’Mara.
