On weekends from November to February, a custom-made wood-fired oven will be set up outside the Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg (Mudam).

Artist Daniel Wagener invites you to the Park Dräi Eechelen (Kirchberg) as part of an art exhibition where he and his colleagues will bake bread.

“The yeast and the resulting bread are symbolic of the newly revived social dynamics and the value of conviviality rediscovered in sharing and eating together,” says the Mudam’s website.

“The process of preparing the dough and raising it in the incubator shown in the exhibition space, as well as the subsequent process of shaping the loaves and baking them in the fire, supervising the baking, and then removing, sharing and consuming the bread, give rise to essential moments of immediacy in which art and life become one.”

Sample the bread for €6 on Sunday mornings (up until 26 February) from 10:00am onwards. All proceeds go to charity.
