Luxembourg’s annual Octave pilgrimage comes with a market in the capital where traditional fair such as fried fish is served.

Originally, the market served pilgrims but it has since adopted a fairground atmosphere, tiding over fans of fried foods from the Christmas market to the Schueberfouer in the summer.

Get Luxembourg’s famous Gromperekichelcher and fried fish at the market that also sells snacks and some other wares, such as brushes and hats.

Stands are open from 11am to 8pm although organisers can choose longer opening hours (from 8am to 11pm).

Normally held in Place Guillaume, the market has been moved to the Gëlle Fra this year because of construction works.
