The tenth edition of the Like a Jazz Machine music festival, held annually in Dudelange, will take place from 12 to 15 May.

According to , the festival is all about “new creations, emerging talents and adventurous crossovers” in the jazz world. It kicks off on 12 May at the Opderschmelz cultural centre.

This year’s edition will open with performances by an ensemble of seven musicians from Luxembourg, Lithuania and Serbia; a quartet comprising Pit Dahm, Michel Reis, Ben van Gelder and Zack Lober (piano, drums, saxophone and bass, respectively); and Stefano Agostini’s Point Cloud Echo project.

Many others will follow, including new projects from Liran Donin; Sebastian Rocheford and Kit Downes; and others.

For deaf and heard-of-hearing fans, “hearing jackets” will be available, i.e. jackets that vibrate to the music.
