After a two-year break, the Gala des étoiles returns this year with a line-up of international ballet dancers and musicians performing a selection of classical pieces and contemporary creations.

Dancers Emanuela Montanari, Maria Eichwald, Hyo-Jung Kang, Ketevan Papava and Iana Salenko as well as soloists Alessio Carbone, Davide Dato, Marcos Vinicius Da Silva, Marcos Menha, Alessndro Staiano and Dinu Tamazlacaru will be performing, accompanied by Igor Zapravdin, who has been a pianist at the Vienna “Staatsoper” for 30 years.

The dancers come from top companies, including the Milan Scala, the Paris opera, the Vienna state ballet, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and the Leipzig and Stuttgart ballets. 

The gala features choreographies by Jerome Robbins, Angelin Preljocaj, Marius Petipa, John Cranko, Pierre Lacotte, Dmity Bryantsev, Martin Schläpfer, Mario Schröder and Volja Kastsel.

Luxembourg dancer Natasa Dudar, a soloist with the Leipzig ballet, will perform with her dance partner Marcos Vinicius Da Silva. Viktoria Tvardovskaya and Susanne Wessel of the brand new Luxembourg ballet company, as well as choreographer Volja Kastsel, will present a duet and a solo.
