Celebrate local music

The Fräiraim festival in and around the Philharmonie features 600 artists from Luxembourg and the greater region performing on six stages over three days.

Originally planned for June 2020 in celebration of the Philharmonie’s 15-year anniversary, Fräiraim (free spaces), is finally happening over the weekend of 24-26 June.

The 60 concerts take place in the Philharmonie’s Grand Auditorium, its chamber music room, Foyer and Espace Découverte venue as well as on a large stage on the Place de l’Europe. The square outside the Phil will also host a lounge and the Yumm food truck festival, organised by the Fonds Kirchberg.

The programme features everything from classical ensembles and vocal performances to jazz and indie rock via Celtic harp, hip-hop and DJ sets. There is even an opportunity to join in with best of Karaoke sessions.
