If you’re taking a trip to Liège this winter, make sure to drop by the Collectionneuses Rothschild exhibition at the Boverie in Liège, Belgium. The expo highlights the work of 9 women of the Rothschild family who, sometimes in the shadow of their partners, sponsored and collected artworks. 

Over 2,000m2 have been dedicated to the 350 works normally held by French institutions and private collectors. Among the incredible collections are artworks by Fragonard, Chardin, Delacroix, Cézanne, Claudel, Rodin, Egon Schiele and Calder, among others. The Boverie building and beautiful promenade around it are worth visiting on a sunny day, but there will be enough to see within the building to remain indoors.
