Özlem Türeci, co-founder and chief medical officer at BioNTech, will present the latest research on mRNA vaccines.

mRNA vaccines have gotten a lot of attention during the pandemic. Biotechnology company BioNTech developed the first messenger mRNA-based vaccine approved for use against covid-19. 

But the potential of this technology goes far beyond covid-19. In her talk, Türeci will cover research on mRNA-based immunotherapies and how mRNA vaccines could be used to prevent and treat other chronic diseases, such as cancer.
