The avant-garde and art rock Welsh musician is performing at the Opderschmelz for the first time.

In the 1960s, John Cale moved to New York and founded the experimental rock band The Velvet Underground. He then pursued a solo career for several years. In January 2023, Cale released an album entitled Mercy, drawing on half a century of musical experience. It includes intense dark-night-of-the-soul electronic sounds, sensitive ballads and more hopeful songs. 

Cale will be performing at the Opderschmelz cultural centre in Dudelange.
