Writer and filmmaker Juliet Jacques presents a series of her writings on transgender lives and representation during a lecture at Mudam.

The lecture is hosted in the framework of an exhibition by US transgender artist Tourmaline.

Jacques has written about transphobia in the UK and abroad, on how the trans and non-binary community might respond to assaults on their rights and visibility, but also interviews with trans writers and reviews of other work.

Jacques has been published in a diverse array of publications including The Guardian--for which she documented her gender reassignment journey--the New York Times, Washington Post, London Review of Books, TimeOut and more.

The lecture is free but entry to the museum is required.
