The Luxembourg-born pianist Francesco Tristano will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Friedrich Gulda, as well as his own compositions, during the Bourglinster Castle music festival.

Francesco Tristano is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, the Conservatories of Brussels, Riga and Paris, Luxembourg for jazz piano and the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya for contemporary music. He masters different musical styles and mixes genres and eras when playing his own compositions or works by other composers, note the organisers of the festival.

Tristano is one of the performers of the 42nd Festival de Musique au Château de Bourglinster, put on by the Association des Amis du Château de Bourglinster, which aims to highlight the cultural value of the castle.
