Rally together to reclaim the street and to raise awareness and money to stop violence against women.

LUX WMN Magazine, ING Luxembourg, Post Luxembourg, Ville de Luxembourg, Vodafone, the gender equality ministry, Femmes en Détresse and Amcham Luxembourg are organising Take Back the Night, an event that aims to raise awareness of violence against women and to spark change within the community.

Starting at 18:00, the event will feature a march from the Gare through Luxembourg City and ending at the Glacis car park, where participants will gather for speeches from community leaders, including gender equality ministry Yuriko Backes (DP). There will also be informational stands, music and food trucks on site.

50% of ticket sales will be donated to Femmes en Détresse, which supports women affected by violence, say the organisers.
