Public broadcaster Radio 100,7 reported on 12 April that meetings for the group and foundation which is the sole shareholder of the group, was a response to recent criticism over the governance of the group, which includes the Kirchberg hospital, Bohler Clinic, Zitha Clinic and the Clinique Sainte Marie in Esch-sur-Alzette.

The group came under fire in recent months for fast-tracking vaccines to non-frontline board members.

Radio 100,7 suggested that group and foundation boards president Jean-Louis Schiltz and vice presidents Claude Seywert and Michel Wurth could be replaced.

It was also recently announced that hospital group manager Claude Schummer, who has been on special leave since 8 March, would step down.

The move is thought to be prompted by accusations that he led a private vaccination campaign. He says that the vaccine strategy had been agreed with Schiltz. Schummer will be succeeded by Sandra Thein.
