In Germany masks are to be mandatory in shops and on public transport, Greek registry offices and courts to reopen, in Czech Republic universities will reopen, per The Guardian. For the first time on Sunday, children in Spain were allowed to step outside as the death toll dropped to the lowest level since 20 March, per BBC News.
Among the deaths related to covid-19 reported over the weekend were Henri Kichka, one of Belgium's last Auschwitz survivors who died aged 94 in a Brussels care home.

The health ministry said a few moments ago that there have been 3,723 confirmed covid-19 cases in Luxembourg (up from 3,711 reported on 25 April). There have been 88 deaths (up from 85 the previous day). The average age of those infected is 46 and the median age of fatalities is 85.
By the latest count, 146 people are in hospital (compared to 163), of whom 22 are in intensive care (compared to 26). A total of 780 (unchanged since the 25 April) patients who tested positive for covid-19 have been discharged from hospital. Since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, a total of 39,003 tests (compared to 38,514) have been carried out.
None of these figures include patients transferred to Luxembourg from French hospitals.

Starting today, fathers will again be permitted to attend the birth of their child at the Clinique Bohler (Hôpitaux Robert Schuman, Kirchberg), provided they adhere to precautionary measures. Before entering the clinic, they must pass through the reception tent, disinfect hands, wear a mask, respect social distancing rules, and remain in the same room as the mum. They are permitted to enter or exit only once between 10am and 7pm. And any fathers who have had contact with a person infected with covid-19 are asked not to come to the clinic.

The foreign ministry, with the support of the Luxembourg army, on Tuesday distributed protective masks to foreign embassies in Luxembourg and to EU and international institutions based in the grand duchy. The ministry says that these bodies account for more than 16,000 officials and staff.
